CCS Technologies has established a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan (BCP
& DRP) which ensures that the operations of CCS are not disrupted by natural calamities or human error.
The BCP & DRP shows our commitment to deliver uninterrupted service to our esteemed customers and safeguard them from unexpected risk. Our business continuity plan takes care of software and applications that reside on individual desktops to high-end servers.
CCS’s BCP & DRP focuses on the following key areas:
Data - Backup & Recovery
CCS has a very strong data backup policy. All system, departmental, and user data are archived at least once every fourteen days and are stored offsite at a secure location. Also, an “incremental” archive is performed once every day.
Infrastructure
CCS has identified business continuity locations, fully equipped to function and carry on with work in case of any contingency.
Primary and Alternate Facilities
CCS has multiple office locations in Kerala - our Development Center in Kottayam (Primary Facility) & other location in Kochi (Alternate Facility) .
In case of any exigencies, CCS can relocate to this alternate location at very short notice and start operations using the backed up data.
People & Process
Our business continuity team has been selected carefully keeping in mind the requisite skill sets needed. This team is available for travel to our other locations at immediate notice.
All acquired knowledge, results of continuous R & D, processes and policies are persisted systematically and are accessible to CCS staff through our intranet portal. New policies and processes are updated instantly and communicated to our staff through the portal.
